Very frustrating FNSI...........

Well I was all set to go for FNSI but my machine had other ideas!!! I had two blocks all cut out ready for my August partners; chocolate ready as my reward but I didn't get very far...

I unthreaded, unscrewed, untangled, cleaned and put it all back together again 3 times before I decided I wasn't meant to do a lot of sewing on Friday. Didn't get back to it Saturday (bought a new mattress but that's another tale), Sunday ran around after DD's, yesterday just got away with me so this morning I decided I'd try one last time before getting the old machine out... I threatened her (Molly Machine) that she would be going in the cupboard and Old Jen Janome would be replacing her. It worked - my blocks are done and ready to post ........

Now I'm going to see how successful everyone else was............

Sounds like you have had a hard time with your machine. Good to hear you got it sorted out and got some sewing done.

From what I can see, that looks like the same machine I have (6600P). Mine sews beautifully, but I do baby her a bit. She doesn't like lint at all, so I clean her quite often. I've found it less stressful to clean more often than to wait for a lint jam LOL. xx debbie

Lovely blocks :) Sometimes machines seem to know better than we do :) Glad you are both in accord again :)

I really like those fabrics in the blocks. Some times our sewing machines can be a nuisance.
