I just can't help myself; I've joined another swap being run by Michele over at The Quilting Gallery and Lenna. I'm going to have lots of beautiful Christmas Goodies to send all over the world - that's the meaning of Christmas ♥♥♥♥

Australian Scout Medallion & Certificate of Merit
Proud mum moment - our eldest daughter was presented with her Australian Scout Medallion yesterday. This is a big achievement involving a lot of work and a first for our Scout group.
I also received a Certificate of Merit for my work as Treasurer. We now have a Grey Wolf, ASM and Certificate of Merit in the family (just need hubby to get involved).

FNSI - thanks to the Crafty Quilter
I almost forgot to register for FNSI and then I forgot to take photo's. I cut out the fabric for 2 table runners and backed my cross stitch on Friday night and then on Saturday I started to put the table runners together. The pattern came from The Crafty Quilter. One is for a friend and the larger one is for my table. The original size looked a bit daft on my table so I'd adapted it to make it longer. Must say I'm really pleased with it so far.
This is for a friend; progress being made
Top almost finished - just the applique to add and sew on the ric rac -
This is for my table (unfortunately I don't have enough blue ric rac so it will be a while before I can finish it). I'll add more photo's when I've added the applique.
I'll put ric rac on either side of the squares to finish it off I think. Not my usual colours but I think they work.
Now to show off my finished cross stitch -
I didn't like the back (I know no-one else will see but I know what's there) so I covered the back too -
Well I must go and start some applique! Check out what everyone else got up to over at Sugarlane Quilts

Advent Calendar
I made this cute advent calendar for my cousins new son in the USA. His English Gran will make sure it's filled with appropriate goodies (maybe his big brother will have to open it for him this year).
My girls both have handmade advent calendars that I made when they were babies and they still come out each year.

FNSI & squishy mail
My darling husband brought home 2 squishy parcels yesterday; one from Sweden and one from Adelaide both had extra's - whose spoilt? Me LOL.
I also did some work on my cross stitch - as I mentioned in an earlier post I have only recently rediscovered cross stitch and am really enjoying it; or was until I ran out of dark green (and of course I've thrown out the paper with the number on it!). So how to fix it - I'm going to go through my stash and find something that is almost the same as really how many trees are the same colour from top to toe? I'll share when it's finished. It's for decorating my home this Christmas - I'm going to frame it in a wooden embroidery hoop.
Hope everyone else was productive - can't wait to check them out later today. Apple slice and coffee were delicious - shame I didn't have room for a second piece ♥

Quilting Block Swap Australia - October
Here's the block I've made for Sue - first go at bear paws and now another favourite....
I was also given a basket full of lemons so decided to turn some into Lemon Curd (Butter to Aussies); even if I say so myself it is delicious.
