Making up for lost time....

Well I've been lacking "posting" time so I'm making up for it now. Spring is here ins SA today it is just beautiful - gardening this morning but being of anglo saxon heritage once the mercury's over 25 I tend to burn (perfect excuse for some sewing) so I've caught up on my aiming for accuracy blocks...........

Tomorrow I'm going to try and do some more Santa Sack goodies for my partner - I have so many ideas :)

My winter mini ♥

I've been a tad busy of late and sewing has had to play second fiddle...... I've started some study (a degree in dementia) I be a sufferer by the time I finish LOL. But on a happy note I received this gorgeous mini as part of the winter mini swap. Shez made this for me and it has pride of place in my kitchen; it's just gorgeous.

I made a mini too but didn't take a photo before I sent it (see the dementia is setting in). 

I've caught up on my A4A blocks too.... The mock chart is coming along nicely.

Best get back to it - I've an assignment due Friday....

Stars as promised plus some coasters I made - not sure that I really like them (no-one else in the family does). I've worked on my Secret Santa today but won't share just incase my partner pops by...

Very productive time........

I put the binding on a table runner - my husband made the centre blocks (he decided quilting couldn't be that difficult!!!) - it has sat in my UFO pile for a couple of years but the bee has bitten & I'm trying to get through that pile (difficult when new projects just keep calling LOL)

I also put the binding to my Winter Mini Quilt (can't show all of it or I'll spoil the surprise)....

I also worked on these stars - no idea what I'm going to do with them but again they've sat in my UFO pile (I'm ashamed to say for nearly 10 years) - I bought the fabric to cut out stars to go on my first ever quilt and matching curtains for my youngest DD (now 11.5 yrs old); the quilt and curtains are still in use but the remaining stars have filled the stash box since then. Youngest DD suggests we just use these only on the Christmas Tree....  I'm not sure. Any ideas???? I didn't take a photo of the finished items (will post tomorrow).

I also finished a scarf for youngest DD - here she is modelling it :)
